Fabrics and patterns for Lori Holt's (Bee In My Bonnet) latest quilt design...FARMSWEET FARM..... have just arrived at Lonesome Pine Quilts. Lori has not published a pattern book for this quilt, but instead it is a Sew Along version from her website. We have the fabrics you will need for this project.....
All this political talk and talk of building walls makes me want to make a brick quilt. When I was a little girl growing up, my grandmother used to take her scrap fabrics and make brick quilts for all our beds. She would just cut 9 or 10 inch strips 4-5 inches wide and sew them end to end to make a row. On every other row, she would cut one of her bricks in half and start that row with a half brick. I still have one of her brick quilts that she made from scraps and put a 4" green border around it. It's one of my most favorite quilts.
My most favorite thing to eat for breakfast (other than my husband's Sunday morning biscuits and gravy) is this Yummy Quiche recipe that I got a few years back from Allrecipes.com. I just make it up the night before and leave in the refrigerator over night. The next morning I just pop it in the oven and VOILE!! Breakfast! Enjoy!
My husband and I have never been one to get each other something for Valentine's Day. I mean, after all, we already have our birthday, our wedding anniversary, Christmas, Mother's Day, and Father's Day......GOOD GRIEF!!! We have just never wanted ANOTHER gift giving holiday. So we just share our love for each other every day throughout the year, and instead we celebrate our daughter-in-law on February 14th because that is her birthday!
A few days ago, I posted in one of our blogs information about this year's 16th Annual Spring Fling Shop Hop coming up on March, 28, 29, & 30, 2019. But it was brought to my attention that I forgot to list the names of this year's participating shops. We are so happy to have a new shop joining the Shop Hop this year from the Mountainburg area. Here is a list of the 10 participating shops
