It's Spring Time In The Ozarks

It's officially Spring Time in the Ozarks! This week we worked the cows and turned them out upon the mountain for the spring and summer to graze the mountain pastures. How beautiful it was to take a buggy ride and watch the cows settle in to their new mountain home.

To watch the adorable new spring calves jump and play........

....to see the gorgeous red buds and dogwoods in bloom dotting the landscape....

....to listen to the babbling streams flowing through the rock bed.....

....the waterfalls overflowing from the spring rains......

.....and to haul in a few spring bass for supper from the river. Yes it's Spring Time in the Ozarks and I LOVE my country life!!
