THE HILLS ARE ALIVE WITH THE SOUND OF MUSIC

Posted by Judy Taylor on

My family is a musical family.  Their talent came from my husband who sang in the state all men's choir and in gospel quartet groups.  Both boys majored in voice music performance in college and play the guitar and saxophone.  One of the boys is a music worship pastor leading in vocal performance, choir direction, and conducting orchestra.  And I have two granddaughters who play the piano.

As for me, my only musical talent is my memories of my Mama listening and singing to wonderful 50's music on the record player and radio; and sitting next to her in church listening to her sing alto.   I love music.  And yes I start playing Christmas music on Thanksgiving Day every year.

Music is just a part of our family, and that's why I can never pass up fabric printed in any musical pattern.  This musical collection is called OPUS and is from Windham Fabrics.  You can find out more information about this collection on our website at lonesomepinequilts.com

Let the music begin!
