Sausage Cheese Balls

One of my favorite all time fall and holiday treats is Sausage Cheese Balls.  Breakfast, lunch, a party, appetizer....whatever the occasion, Sausage Cheese Balls fit the bill.  And the recipe is so easy to  make.  Make up a batch for your family this fall.

INGREDIENTS:

*2 pounds (32 oz) uncooked pork sausage (I use Jimmy Dean Sausage)

*1-1/2 cups biscuit mix

*16 oz sharp cheddar cheese (4 cups shredded)

*1/2 cup finely chopped onion

*1/2 cup finely chopped celery

*1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Shred cheese and mix all ingredients.  Form into one inch balls and place on parchment paper lined pan.  Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.  Makes about six dozen.  Best served warm.
