FISH FRY...SOUTHERN STYLE!

This Saturday, September 22nd marks the first day of fall. And to kick off the season, we had our annual southern fish fry at the ranch Sunday afternoon with friends and family. 
What a beautiful day it was at the ranch house on the river with a gentle breeze and leaves cascading down. It was so beautiful! In the South, the men cook the fish, fries, and hush puppies outside in deep fryers 
while the women visit and catch up on family news and the children play and catch bugs and play on the tire swing on the 100 year old oak tree in the yard.

Yep! Maybe it's a week early, but here on the ranch.....fall has officially started!! Let the fun begin!!
